About

I began teaching and coaching in 1970. You don’t have to do the math. That’s a long time!

During that time I gained extensive marketing, enrollment management, and advancement experience as an employee at three Catholic high schools and a consultant for nationally recognized Catholic School Management, Inc.

I’ve been with CSM since 1996 (both full-time and now adjunct).  My experience includes conducting seminars and working on-site with schools to create or enhance marketing plans, enrollment management plans, and strategic plans as well as managing feasibility studies and overseeing capital campaigns.  Additionally, I teach a class on marketing Catholic schools at the University of Notre Dame each July to individuals from schools across the United States.

In July 2007, I was named to the administrative team at Pope John Paul II High School, a new Catholic high school located in Hyannis, Massachusetts, serving as the Advancement Director, Admissions Director, and Athletic Director. (Update: As of August 2010, I’ve jettisoned the latter title and can now focus on the first two titles.)

During my eight-year tenure (1992-2000) as Admissions Director at Bishop Stang High School in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts, the school’s enrollment increased over twenty-five percent (25%) from 125 available seats to capacity enrollment with an additional 60 students in the “wait pool.”  I returned to the school as Assistant Development Director and Alumni Director in September 2004 before moving to my current position on Cape Cod.

I currently sit on the Board for ACAAP (Association of Catholic Admissions and Advancement Professionals), an organization made up of individuals from Catholic Schools throughout New England dedicated to admissions and advancement issues.
